Gooooood Morning everyone hope you have all had a super week and are looking forward to the weekend.  Well now that spring is finally here there is soooooooo much to do in the garden.  For instance if you want a lovely display of flowers in the summer now is the time to be sowing your seeds.  As you know we are now stocking Mr. Fothergill's Seeds (so excited) and we have a fantastic range from these gorgeous canterbury bells to cosmos, penstemons and lobelia.  However, rather than having to buy loads of little plant pots to sow your seeds in we also have a fab idea for making seed pots out of recycled newspaper.

Our wooden paper potters are a brilliant eco friendly gift that makes 4x5cm seed pots. Full instructions are given and it is so easy that it's a great way of getting children interested in planting too.  And once the seeds are big enough to be planted out just plant the whole thing and the paper will bio-degrade!!

This is such a simple yet effective way of planting seeds and fun too.  But of course you still need to keep your fingers clean so we have great gardening gloves to offer you as well.  Our soft n care flora range are perfect for planting seeds as they fit close to your hand like, well like a glove really!  You wont even know you're wearing them, they really are like a second skin.  They are available in small and medium and a variety of colours.  They are washable and last for ages.  So why not take a look at www.ruddickgardengifts.co.uk and treat yourself this spring and happy sowing!
