 "Gifts To Make You Smile"

Well, finally the sunshine has reached Carlisle and we have managed two lovely sunny days, warm too!  Now wouldn't these SUN WIND SPINNERS look great in the garden.  Imagine them hanging in a tree and as the wind blows the spinners gently turn.  You will be entranced by them.  They come in a choice of gold or red and are 6" in diameter.  They are priced at £14.99 which you may think sounds a lot but honestly our wind spinners are all made from stainless steel and have been powder coated so they wont rust and will last much much longer than a normal spinner.

You will find these on our Wind Spinners page along with many other types and sizes.  We have multi-coloured spinners, 12" spinners and even ones with tails and crystals. So why not go check them out, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.  I bought a spinner a couple of years ago for hubby as a gift from a well known garden centre.  And within a few months left outside it had rusted and was looking a bit tired and sad! I had paid quite a bit for it and so was really disappointed.  You will not be disappointed with our spinners, believe me!!  Here are a few others for you to look at to whet your appetite.  Like what you seen then go on over to our website and see for yourself.

So this time next week it will be Easter and we will all be tucking into some chocolate eggs but how about if you bought something the kids could keep instead of eggs.  Here at Ruddick Garden Gifts we have some great ideas...........
For instance what about this DIY Paint Nest Box Kit which comes gift boxed and with the wooden nest box already made up.  There are 3 pots of paint included and a paintbrush.  The kids then just have to decide what design to paint on it to encourage the birds to come into your garden.  This is a fab way of getting children involved in the garden plus it gives them something to do in the Easter holidays!  Priced at £9.99 it is great value too and can be found on our Best for Birds page.

Now if you have more than one child to buy for in the family why not get them a joint gift that they can all play together.  Here we have the brilliant Games Bucket.  This has been created by the designer Sophie Conran
and will give hours of fun for the whole family.  The metal bucket is crammed full of good old fashioned fun games that can be picked up and taken anywhere. Included in the kit are:
4 x eggs & spoons                        2 x three legged race ties
4 x bean bags                               A whistle
Instructions & rules booklet          Target bucket to keep it all in
Priced at £29.95 it is a bit more expensive but the fun you will have will last all year round.  This can be found on our Garden Gifts page so go check it out.  If neither of these take your fancy you can always just go out and buy them eggs, they will taste better but the pleasure doesn't last....................................

Happy Wednesday everyone, half way through the week and not long until the weekend.!!!  As promised today I am going to show you some of our products that bring colour into your garden.  Seeds are a brilliant and satisfying way of getting colour into your garden not to mention economical.  We have a range of seeds that have made it really simple to get a good mix into your garden in one go.

They come in four different ranges, The Garden's Friends Range, which includes packs to encourage, bees, aphids, ladybirds, butterflies and birds  helps restore balance into the garden. This range can be seen as a preventative method of pest control attracting large numbers of pollinators and beneficial insects.

Then we have the Summer Flowers Range which is especially suitable for gardeners who want quality blooms all summer long.  Each pack contains on average 30 species of annual flowers providing long lasting and beautiful displays.

Next we have the Specifics Range which as the name suggests are packs that have a mixture of seeds for specific areas in your garden, such as edges & borders or shaded areas.

And finally we come to the Dwarves Range which are ideal whether you have a rural or urban garden as dwarf plants are essential for creating a good looking landscape.  This range is very popular with most gardeners as they fill in all the nooks and crannies of your garden.

All our boxes of Seeds cover an area of 7m2 and are priced at £9.99.  The majority can be sown in Spring, so now is the perfect time to start and by the summer you will have some lovely displays. Customers who bought our Seeds last year were delighted with the results and all reported good amounts of flowers.  You will find more information on our Seeds page.
